Programs
Our programs strive to meet the needs of both individuals and families, whether you're a single service member, veteran, military couple, or family with children.

Monthly Support Group Meetings
Quality time matters, and having somebody to talk to who just gets it makes all the difference. That’s why we host our monthly support group meetings on the first Friday of every month!
Our meetings are all about bringing people together, and we love adding fun themes to make them extra special for our military children! We've done everything from Jurassic Park to Minecraft, with decorations, food, and activities to match. No two months are quite the same!
While we love having fun, there's also a lot of thought that goes into planning each meeting. Our team spends countless hours preparing everything with suicide prevention in mind. We want our members to have a place where they can spend time with others who understand military life, make friends, and know they have people they can turn to.
We welcome all current and former service members and their families! Our monthly meetings are one of the many benefits of being a Bailey Military Support member. And of course, our sweet four-legged friends, Perry and Ellie, join us to bring comfort and plenty of smiles!

Children's Program
Our military children are such an important part of Bailey Military Support, and we love finding little ways to make them feel special! Each month, we celebrate birthdays at our support group meetings with our birthday table, where children celebrating a birthday that month get to pick out a gift. And of course, we sing Happy Birthday! We also have goodie bags, crafts, and fun activities to keep our kids entertained.
Throughout the year, we plan special events and outings just for them! From Easter egg hunts and baskets to our Month of the Military Child celebration at Smash Island Adventure Park, Halloween festivities, and our annual Grinch Christmas party, we love giving our military children something to look forward to. We also offer activities during school breaks at little to no cost for our families, including outings to places like Chuck E. Cheese and picnics at the park.
Although we're not specifically a special needs organization, many of the families we serve have children with special needs. We want every family to feel welcomed and included, and we do our best to accommodate each child's individual needs so they can participate and have fun alongside everyone else.
One thing that's especially important to us is that our children's program isn't just for active-duty military families. We welcome children of veterans, too! They deserve the same opportunities to make friends, have fun, and feel like they're part of our military community.

Women's Group
Our Women's Group brings together current and former female service members and military/veteran wives for a chance to make friends, share experiences, and enjoy some time together! Whether you're looking for support or just want to get out of the house and spend time with other women, we'd love to have you join us.
We know that some of the women we serve have experienced military sexual trauma, and having a space where they feel safe and comfortable around other women is especially important. That's why our Women's Group is just for women, giving everyone the opportunity to talk openly without feeling judged or uncomfortable.
We meet once a month and like to mix things up! Our gatherings range from military sexual trauma peer support and Bible studies to tea parties, crafts, and charcuterie board workshops. Some months we have heavy conversations, and other months we're simply enjoying each other's company and having fun!
You don't have to be a Bailey Military Support member to attend Women's Group! All eligible women are welcome to join us.

Spiritual Care and Support
We believe faith can play a significant role in healing, especially during life's most difficult moments. We want our members to know they have someone to turn to for spiritual support, encouragement, and prayer.
Our male Volunteer Chaplain is available to members for prayer, spiritual guidance, hospital visits, and support during difficult times. We also have a female Spiritual Advisor and Family Support Volunteer who offers additional encouragement, prayer, and support to all our members. Everyone has different comfort levels, and we want our members to feel comfortable reaching out to someone they trust.
Whether you're going through a difficult time, looking for someone to pray with, or simply need a little encouragement, we're here for you. While faith is an important part of our organization, we welcome all members without discrimination, regardless of their religious beliefs. Participation in spiritual support is always optional. We simply want to walk alongside you on your journey.

Christmas Blessing Program
Christmas is one of our favorite times of the year, and we love finding ways to make the holidays a little brighter for our military community! When we learn of someone, a family, or even a group of service members who could use a little extra holiday cheer, our Board of Directors selects the recipients for a special Christmas Blessing!
Just a few of the ways we've blessed our military community over the years include putting together gift baskets for single soldiers from the 10th Special Forces Group who had just returned home, providing baby necessities and Christmas dinner for a soldier who tragically lost his wife and was spending his first Christmas as a single dad to his infant daughter, and surprising twins who lost their veteran father with a special gift basket.
No two Christmas Blessings are the same! From baby clothes and everyday necessities to gift cards, coffee, and Christmas presents, each blessing is put together specifically for the recipients based on their individual wants and needs. We love being able to surprise them and remind them that someone is thinking of them during the holidays.

A Night of Hope
Suicide prevention is at the core of our mission at Bailey Military Support, and our annual Night of Hope dinner is one of the ways we bring our entire community together to talk about it. This event is open to everyone, not just military families. We start the evening by enjoying dinner together as a family! After dinner, our younger guests participate in our You Bee-Long children's program, where they enjoy fun activities and crafts while the adults listen to our speakers.
Each year, we have two to three speakers who openly share some of the most difficult experiences of their lives. Their stories sometimes touch on topics such as substance abuse, military sexual trauma, combat trauma, the unimaginable heartbreak of losing a child, and many other challenges they've faced. These aren't always easy stories to hear, but our speakers also share how faith and hope have helped them find purpose through their struggles. Our founder shares her own story, and Lieutenant Marshall from the Fountain Police Department is always one of our spotlight speakers. We're so thankful for the Fountain Police Department's continued support each year, helping soften the badge and educate our guests about their Behavioral Health Connect (BHCON) program while bringing their therapy dog, Hulk, to offer comfort throughout the evening. We also share information about local suicide prevention and mental health resources.
In 2026, we introduced our Honor Table to recognize and remember individuals who are no longer with us but whose lives and stories continue to inspire our mission. Whether through their direct support of our organization during their lifetime, their service to our country, or the impact they had on others, we want to honor the difference they made and how their stories continue to inspire the work we do.
Every guest receives a resource bag filled with information about available support services, and we end the evening with a giveaway where everyone receives a gift.
