OUR PROGRAMS
Support for Everybody
Children's Program
Children are the heart and soul of Bailey Military Support. Since our founding, we have had the privilege of serving over 120 children, offering support in many meaningful ways.
We celebrate each child’s birthday during their birth month, ensuring they feel special and loved. When a parent deploys, we provide coping baskets to help children manage the challenges of separation. Every April, we host our annual Military Child Appreciation Party to honor and celebrate military kids. In September, we hold our annual You Bee-Long event, created for children while their parents attend Surviving Suicide – A Night of Hope.
We also offer activities at low or no cost during school breaks, such as skating, bowling, picnics in the park, and much more — all designed to foster community, fun, and connection.
We love making holidays special for kids with baskets at Easter, stockings and a gift exchange at Christmas, and fun egg hunts for both Halloween and Easter. Plus, we have a birthday table filled with toys where kids can choose a gift during their birthday month to celebrate their special day!
What truly sets us apart is our dedicated focus on supporting the children of active-duty military families, veterans, and fallen soldiers. We understand the unique challenges these children face, and we are committed to providing compassion, encouragement, and a sense of belonging.
Monthly Support Meetings
We understand the importance of quality time and the comfort that comes from sharing a meal together, which is why we host our monthly support group meeting on the first Friday of every month. These themed gatherings are designed to bring people together. They include dinner, engaging activities for the children, and a safe, welcoming space for adults to connect and share.
Our group is unique in that we have both current and former service members and their families, as well as Gold Star families. Although all of our meetings are family-friendly, single service members and veterans are always welcome.
During the holiday season, we make things extra special with a traditional Thanksgiving dinner in November and a festive Grinchmas-themed meeting in December. We know how important connection and community can be, and we are here to make sure no one feels alone.

Single Soldier Christmas
We understand how lonely the holiday season can feel for single soldiers living in the barracks, far from family and loved ones. Our president and founder knows this feeling firsthand because she found herself lonely around the holidays as a single soldier stationed in Alaska. Inspired by her experience, each year we select a small group to prepare gift baskets and provide lunch or dinner to single soldiers stationed at Fort Carson, helping them feel remembered and cared for during the holidays. The baskets include thoughtful items such as gift cards, coffee, and mental health resources to provide comfort and support. This effort also helps soldiers connect with families in the community who can open their homes for future holidays if they wish.
If you’re a soldier at Fort Carson who would like to be considered for this program along with your battle buddies, or if you’re a leader with soldiers who could use some extra support, please don’t hesitate to reach out to our president at skyler@baileysupport.org. We’d love to bring a little holiday cheer and love to those who need it most.
